Lethe is a series of interactive literary pieces. Each text reveals itself in time with music, beneath a layer of visual grain.
The gesture
The grain doesn't lie. It's there to ask you to stop. Put on headphones, press play, wait for the music to do its work. The sentences appear when the song lets them. You don't control it. That's the subject.
The chapters
La dame en d is the first — autobiographical, ten pieces, threaded by running, lying, rock, river. Le signal is the second — fictional, an AI narrator, a humanity that stopped at eight million. More will come.
Who
Lethe is a godspeed object. The code is hand-built — Next.js, Tailwind, Tone.js, canvas glyphs written line by line. No CMS. No pipeline. No industry.
Why
Because the things we read online no longer settle. Lethe is a place where they settle. Not to stay beautiful. To stay.
